Gitxsan

File contains historical photographs of Gitxsan villages, with a specific focus on totem poles and various buildings in the villages. There are also some images of the Gitxsan people in regalia. File contains images of the First Nation artists involved with the Through My Eyes exhibit. The images show them looking at objects in the Vancouver Museum's collection. CMC houses project

This subseries contains records relating to an exhibit built at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. McLennan was the project manager and design developer for this project. He oversaw the completion and installation of six west coast First Nation house designs: Coast Salish, Haida, Tsimshian, Bella Coola, Oweekeno, and Kwakwaka'wakw. The records include newspaper clippings, correspondence, photographs, and notes.

Alaska State Museum

File contains correspondence and art packages. The two art packages consists of Northwest Coast Art and The Whale House of the Chilkat. These packages contain historic photographs with full explanations, as well as high lighting the design elements. They were published by the Alaska State Museum.

First Nations community members

File consists of images of First Nations adults and children in Bella Coola, Klemtu, Bella Bella, Haida Gwaii, and Hartley Bay, BC.

A similar image of him is printed on page 23 of Carter's book Abundant Rivers, with the caption: "August Jack, or Kahts-Lanock, was born of Squamish parents living temporarily in Stanley Park. He was 99 years and 7 months old when he passed away in 1967. Kahts-Lanock was also the last of the medicine men." Other sources suggest that he passed way in 1971 when he was 93 or 94.
