File consists of research materials and correspondence on the historical context of Stanley Park, including articles about the park and its First Nations population, Totem Poles and pole raisings, Residential Schools, Northwest Coast art, carvings by Susan A. Point, and other literature on relations between the colonial government and First Nations. Additional items are a transcript of an interview with Salish carver Robert Yelton, a 2004 edition of Jensen's "Totem Poles of Stanley Park" with annotations, and email correspondence with John Dewhirst, Loretta Woodcock, Dorothy Kennedy, Kevin Griffin, Terri Clark, Jil Weaving, Eva Sierp, and Carol DeFina, regarding Jensen's totem pole research and Stanley Park.
