Subseries consist of records relating to the acquisition of photographs by, or of the Haida artist Francis Williams. Records include correspondence and notes.

Freda Diesing School

This subseries consists of records relating to McLennan’s teaching work at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art in Terrace B.C. from 2006 until 2011. McLennan has continued to teach in 2012-2013, and may return after his retirement from the MOA at UBC.

From Under the Delta Exhibition

Subseries consists of records relating to the “From Under the Delta: Wet-Site Archaeology in the Lower Fraser Region of British Columbia” exhibit installed at the Museum of Anthropology from March 1995 to March 1999. In his capacity as Designer, Skooker Broome worked on the planning, designing, and installation of the exhibit. Records include memoranda, a copyrighted article by Kathryn Bernick, invoices, color photographs, negatives, color slides, contact sheet, exhibit plans, drafts of exhibit captions, photocopy of a newspaper article, correspondence, hand-written notes, budgets, funding application, object summaries, drawings, and publications.

Funding

Subseries consists of files relating to various sources of funding for MOA, including files on grants, donations and foundations. These files pertain to both the acquisition and use of this funding. Records in this subseries take the form of correspondence, notes, photocopies of news paper clippings, statements of purchase, journal vouchers, ledger print outs, timesheets, payroll statements, application forms and memoranda.

Furniture and fit up

Sub-series contains documents related to lighting, furniture, fit-ups, room signage, and equipment that was part of the MOA renewal process.

Gallery 3

Subseries consists of a memo to Elizabeth Johnson relating to the planning of a future exhibit in Gallery 3 which would show the relationship between MOA and leading NWC artists of the last century. Also included are lists of artists and relevant objects from the Museum of Anthology’s collections, which were considered for inclusion in the exhibit.

Subseries consists of records relating to the “Gallery 3” exhibit. In his capacity as Designer, Skooker Broome worked on the planning, designing, and installation of the exhibit. Subseries includes invoices, computer concept drawings, handwritten notes, pencil drawings, correspondence, UBC plant operations records, and layouts and designs for the exhibit cases.
