Prints exhibition: Roy Hanuse, Joe David, and Art Thompson
Subseries contains images of a serigraph print created in 1971 by Joe David. The print is titled Ka-Ka-Win-Chealth (Transformation of white wolf into killer whale).
This subseries consists of images showing objects from the MOA on display at the president of the University of British Columbia’s house, and one textual record listing the labels for these objects.

Preservation/conservation and storage
Subseries consists of material relating to the treatment and housing of objects in the museum’s collections. Files include records from the BC Totem Pole Preservation Committee (1953-1965) and material reflecting the planning and execution of visible storage. Files also include records documenting the fumigation of wooden objects in the collection and general care of totem poles. The records in this subseries consist of formal recommendations, correspondence, committee notes, receipts, proposals, reports, lists of expenditures, notes, newspaper clippings, photocopies student papers, memoranda, reports, plans, purchase orders, invoices and ephemera.

This exhibit, which does not appear in the records as ever occurring at the museum, contained ceremonial objects honouring the bear, from the Ainu people, who are indigenous to the island of Hokkaido in northern Japan.

Subseries primarily consists of material which relates to the policies and procedures of the museum. Also included in the subseries is a selection of correspondence on the subject of donations to the museum, as well as purchases made by the museum. The subseries consists of memos, annotated policy documents, drafts of procedure documents, schedules, blank item cataloguing cards sample forms, correspondence and notes.
Pole Walk, tour of MOA with Dr. Kew, Dr. Halpin and Don Bain
Sub-series consists of textual records including the transcript for the guided tour of the museum collection given by Dr. Halpin, Dr. Michael Kew and Don Bain for staff, students, and volunteers from the Museum of Anthropology on April 13, 1993 and May 30, 1993.
Subseries contains one file that consists of photographs of six totem poles being raised in Haida Gwaii for the Qay’llnagaay Heritage Centre. The photographs comprise eight different incomplete rolls of film. The images depict First Nations people in regalia, other community members, and visitors all participating in the raising of the totem poles.
