Scope and content

File consists of photographs documenting the carving and raising of two poles by Norman Tait and his crew at Capilano Mall. There was also an "extra" pole carved, depicting bear prints, to hide a beam at the back of the bear pole that would have been visible from several shops. The poles were raised on April 15 1986 and July 1 1986.
