Totem pole files

Sub subseries contains the Totem Pole Files, as put together by Don Bain. Material in the Totem Pole Files was compiled by Don Bain from the MOA Archives, UBC Special Collections, UBC Library, the Royal British Columbia Museum, the British Columbia Archives, and the Department of Indian Affairs, as well as information from MOA staff. Record types include photocopies of photographs, catalogues, accession files, research files, technical files, historical correspondence, internal memos and reports, and committee meeting minutes. Most records collected by Don Bain date from between 1920 and 1980.

Image depicts a close up showing the details of the lower figures on a totem pole, probably the Snag-of-the-Sand-Bar pole from the House of Chief Skogum Laxhe.
