Heaven, Hell and Somewhere In Between: Portuguese Popular Art

Subseries consists of records related to the graphic design for the Heaven, Hell and Somewhere in Between exhibit, on display at the Museum of Anthropology May 12 - October 12, 2015. The exhibit was curated by Dr. Anthony Shelton (MOA Director).

Subseries consists of records related to the graphic design for the showing of the Pigapicha! exhibit at the Museum of Anthropology. This travelling exhibit was on display at MOA November 25, 2014 - April 5, 2015.

Series consists of records relating to special projects and events hosted by or produced in whole or in part by the Museum of Anthropology. Records include correspondence, notes, reports, proposals, memoranda, programs and itineraries, topographical maps, minutes, agreements, business cards, brochures, and project summaries.

Bill Reid memorial

Subseries consists of records relating to Haida artist Bill Reid’s memorial services held in the Great Hall at the MOA on March 24, 1998. For the Bill Reid memorial, Skooker Broome participated in coordinating and in planning of the memorial services. Records include memorial program & itineraries, MOA topographical maps, handwritten notes, memoranda, UBC Plant Operation records, and audiovisual estimates.

Vancouver Virtual Museum

Subseries consists of records relating to Skooker Broom’s responsibilities as the Museum of Anthropology liaison and coordinator for the development of a Vancouver Virtual Museum consortium and for the creation and development of proposals for a virtual museum. Records include correspondence, memoranda, reports, agendas, business cards, guidelines, confidential reports, confidential and proprietary documents, Vancouver Virtual Museum Society’s Act, minutes, grant applications (copies), expense lists, estimates, draft letters, grant notifications, agreement guides, drafts & final proposals, terms of projects, licensing agreements booklet, budgets, agreements, corporate reports, and consultation reports.

Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation [APEC]

Subseries consists of records relating to Skooker Broome’s responsibilities as a Museum of Anthropology liaison and coordinator of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference held at the Museum. Records include a power point presentation of APEC, plans for APEC, correspondence, memoranda, agendas, and site enhancement proposals.
